He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Brno University of Technology in 1980. He has worked as the Head of the Department of City Investment in Pelhřimov since 2006. He deals with the supervision of investment, obtaining grants for investment projects and the advertising of tenders. Since 2008, he has carried out almost all investment and non-investment projects by way of e-auction.
