He was offered a job in public procurement on his way to Spain, from where Michal Garaj focused on competition for the Slovak Public Procurement Office (PPO). He succeeded in this area and began to address objections in review procedures. Later he was called to the Council of the PPO, where he helped with second level decision-making. After six and a half years he was "transferred" to the team of the Mayor of Bratislava, Matúš Vallo. Since earlier this year he has headed the Public Procurement Department, where he strives to get the highest added value possible.
